The national football team of Albania has started competing on the international stage in 1946. It is managed by the Albanian Football Federation and as at the latest rankings issued in February 2017 rank 55th in the FIFA rankings. The team was drawn in Group A of last summer’s European Championship 2016 hosted by France, losing against Switzerland (1-0) and the hosts France (2-0), but winning 1-0 against Romania to finish 3rd in the group.
These are the new kits that the Albanian players will wear during the 2017 campaign, whereby we will first get a glimpse of a new kit in the away World Cup 2018 qualifier against Italy on the 24th March, where the team presently ranks 4th out of 6 teams, 4 points away from the qualification zone having won two and lost two of the four matches played. The kit supplied of the Albanian team is Macron, an Italian brand headquartered in Bologna. The kit design has diamond shaped details on the lower half of the body.
The home shirt features the traditional red colour with a black Korean style collar appearing on all three kits launched. The sleeve hems on the home shirt and away shirt are black. The away shirt features a white base colour, while the third kit features a dark grey base colour with black sleeves and red sleeve hems.
