Atlanta United FC have released their first ever away kit as they get in gear for their inaugural 2017 MLS season. The team is based in Atlanta, Georgia and will play in the Eastern Conference. Initially, they will play their home games at the Bobby Dodd Stadium, however they are due to move to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in August 2017.
The new away kit features a primarily white shirt with horizontal tonal grey stripes which pay tribute to Atlanta’s history as a railroad town. The shirt features the adidas 3-stripes in red at the sides, and has red sleeve hems. The adidas logo is in red on the top right part of the chest with the club crest on the opposite side. American Family Insurance, the club’s main kit sponsor, has its logo featured across the front of the chest. ‘ATL UTD’ is also inscribed at the back of the neckline.
