The Chicago Fire Soccer Club have unveiled their new away kit for the 2017 MLS season. The club’s kit is manufactured by the official MLS kit supplier – adidas, who presented the club with a kit which is inspired from the heart of the club’s badge.
The shirt was unveiled by the club together with shirt sponsor Valspar, and features a primarily grey base which is inspired from the same tone at the center of the club crest. The shirt makes use of adidas engineered Climagrid technology which allows for maximum ventilation and movement. The player names and numbers and trim are all in blue including the v-neck collar which also has red accents.
The shirt also features the crossed axes on the back neck tape. The six-pointed red stars which are lifted from the Chicago municipal flag are featured on the sleeve trim as well as on the socks.
