Atlético Nacional, a Colombian football club, has revealed its new Nike kits for the 2017 season. The club is based in the city of Medellin and play in the top Colombian division – the Primera A. They finished as runners-up in the 2016 season. The new kits pay tribute to the club’s 70-year anniversary.
The new home shirt could cause some controversy amongst fans as Nike made away with the traditional green and white stripes, and presented a shirt with green and white halves with horizontal white pinstripes.
The new away shirt is bright yellow with green detail. Similar to the home shirt, it features the club crest on the top left part of the chest with the special 70-year anniversary inscription added above.
