This is the sixth consecutive edition of the Africa Cup of Nations that the team is participating in. They are the reigning champions of the 2015 edition of the Africa Cup held in Equatorial Guinea. The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Gabon between the 14th January and the 5th February.
This is the home kit to be used by Ivory Coast during the 2017 competition where they will be looking to defend the title. The kit has a traditional orange base colour with a green flapped collar and green sleeve hems. The upper part of the back of the shirt is green and is separated from the rest of the shirt with white details. There are green stripes extending from the collar to the shoulders and down to the sleeve edges. The football kits are designed by German sportswear brand Puma.
