Japanese J.1 League club Urawa Red Diamonds have released their new home kit for the 2017 season. They finished the 2016 J1 league season as runners-up after losing out to Kashima Antlers 2-2 on aggregate (on away goals).
The Urawa Reds, as they are nicknamed, are owned by Japanese corporation Mitsubishi Motors.
The kit is manufactured by Nike and is primarily red with a unique graphic print, showing two ‘X’s and one ‘V’ referring to the club’s 25th anniversary since they changed their name to Urawa Red Diamonds. The shirt is complemented by white shorts and black socks. The new Reds goalkeeper shirt was also launched, which features a primarily green shirt with black stripes on the sleeves and black trim around the sides.
