French brand Airness has revealed the shirts that the Mali football team will be wearing during the current African Cup of Nations being held in Gabon. Mali have been drawn in Group D of the tournament, and will play Egypt, Ghana and Uganda. Mali have never won the African tournament, although they did come close in 1972 when they lost to Congo 3-2 in the final.
Airness presented Mali with an eagle-inspired home and away shirts, representing the eagle on the team’s crest. The home shirt is primarily yellow and features the country’s flag colours green and red with a touch of white. The new away shirt features the exact same template as the home shirt, this time having a white base.
