Signing for one of the biggest clubs in world football for one of the largest transfer fees comes with financial benefits. Paul Pogba did not come back to Manchester just because he likes the city or the training ground. The player and his agent gain from image rights and advertising. Similar to the way Cristiano Ronaldo launched his CR7 brand, Paul Pogba will be capitalising on the popularity that comes with playing for the best supported team in world football, Manchester United.
Adidas, the current kit supplier of the Red Devils, has launched the logo that will feature on Paul Pogba branded items. The logo features two P’s on top of each other, being an acronym of the player’s name. Adidas is set to launch a new set of soccer boots that will feature this new logo with the text “Pogboom” written on the back of the boot. We expect to see this logo featured on a selection of sportswear launched by Adidas in the coming months.
