As designed by designer Franco Carabajal from La Casaca Blog, we are previewing the new kits of the top clubs for the 2017-18 season. These designs are based on information seen by the designer about the new templates being used by Nike for the upcoming season. Although the actual design launched in summer 2017 before the new season may be slightly different, we expect it to be very similar to the below.
Inter are an Italian club which enjoyed glory days recently when they won five Italian Serie A titles in a row between 2005 and 2010. The 2005/06 title was won by Juventus on the field but was handed officially by the courts to Inter after the Calciopoli scandal that saw Juventus relegated to Serie B. The Italian team from Milan won the European Cup in 1963/64 and 1964/65 and the UEFA Champions League in 2009/10 under the guidance of world-class Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho. With Inter, Mourinho won the 2008/09 and 2009/10 Serie A titles, the 2009/10 Coppa Italia and the 2008 Supercoppa. The team was recently taken over by Chinese investors Suning Holdings Group, which now holds 68.55% of the shareholding of the club.
The new home kit features the traditional colours of the Nerazzurri, blue and black, in the form of vertical stripes. The collar is black and there is a blue stripe on each side of the body extending to the underarms. The home shorts and home socks are black.
The away kit features a smart white base colour with the sleeves being a light shade of blue and having sleeve hems with a slightly darker shade of blue. A black stripe adorns the sides of the body and extends to the underarms. The collar is blue with a black stripe separating it from the rest of the body. White shorts and socks complement the away shirt.
