Ajax finished 2nd in the 2015-16 Eredivisie table. The popular team from Amsterdam has won 33 league titles during its 116-year history, including four successive league titles between 2010 and 2014. The team’s playing kits are designed and manufactured by Adidas, in a partnership extending back to the year 2000 and the current deal lasting until 2019. Ziggo, the largest cable operator in the Netherlands providing cable television, broadband Internet and telephone service, is the team’s kit sponsor.
We bring you the predicted designs of the 2017-18 Ajax football kits. These were designed by designer Franco Carabajal from La Casaca Blog after having access to the pre-catalog and reliable information about the new kits that will be launched in summer 2017. We reiterate that these are predicted designs, and while the actual kits may vary from these predictions, we believe that they will be very similar.
The new home shirt will be white with a vertical wide red stripe on the central part of the body. The Adidas and Ziggo logos will be white and placed on this red stripe. The Adidas trademark striped on the shoulders will be silver, while there will be silver piping details on the sleeves and sides of the body.
The Ajax 2017-18 away shirt will feature a blue base colour with an enlarged red graphic of the club’s crest showing the Greek hero Ajax. The sleeve cuffs and Adidas trademark stripes on the sides of the body will be red.
