Sporting Lisbon is a Portuguese football club playing in the Primeira Liga, the top division in Portugal. The club is based in the capital city Lisbon. The team is presently managed by Jorge Jesus, the manager who managed Benfica for six seasons between 2009 and 2015. The team finished runners-up in the 2015-16 season. The last time that Sporting Lisbon won the Portuguese league was in 2001-02. In its history, the team won the Portuguese league 18 times, the Portuguese Cup 16 times and the European Cup Winners’ Cup of 1963-64.

The football kits of Sporting Lisbon are designed by Italian sportswear brand Macron and sponsored by NOS. The home shirt of Sporting Lisbon to be used at the José Alvalade Stadium is hooped in white and green, apart from a green patch at the back where the player name and number are printed. The sleeve cuffs and flapped collar are black.

The away shirt features a smart black colour with the lion of the club crest appearing in a monochromatic design on the left side of the body. There are green details on the sleeve cuffs and collar. The third shirt is bright green, striped horizontally in two shades. The third shirt sleeve cuffs and collar are black and there is a black stripe on each side of the body.
