Helsingborgs IF is a Swedish football club which had its fair share of success over its 109 years of history. However in the 2016 season, the team finished 14th out of 16 teams in the Allsvenskan, the top division in Sweden, and was relegated via the play-offs against Halmstads BK after conceding twice in the last three minutes of regular time of the second leg. This means that the seven-time Champions of Sweden will be playing second division football in the Superettan in 2017.
This is the new home kit launched by the club and its kit supplier Puma. It gives us a first look of the new template by Puma and an idea of what other teams’ kits manufactured by the sportswear brand will look like. The shirt has a red base colour and features blue details on the shoulders and sleeves. Resurs Bank is the main kit sponsor. The new home shirt features a button-up red collar and the text Skanes Stolthet embroidered on the upper back.
