These are the current 2016/17 kits of German Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen. The kits are manufactured by American brand Nike. Despite being one of the most successful teams in the Bundesliga during the mid-2000s, Werder Bremen have not featured in a European competition since the 2010/11 season.
Nike has been the club’s kit manufacturer since 2009 whilst the current kit sponsors are Wiesenhof (poultry processing company).
Werder Bremen’s home shirt features green and white hoops and has green sleeves. It has orange detail around the neckline whilst the Nike ‘swoosh’ logo is also featured in orange on the top right part of the chest.
Nike presented Werder Bremen with a purple kit for their away fixtures. The shirt is primarily purple with orange detail around the neckline. The Nike logo is in white.
The new third shirt is primarily white with green trim around the sleeve hems and neckline. The shirt also features the text ‘Lebenslang grün-weiß‘ (‘Lifelong green-white’) on the right side of the shirt.
