West Ham United is a Barclays Premier League club from East London. Commonly known as the Hammers, the team has just moved into its brand new London Stadium at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, after playing for 112 years at their former stadium the Boleyn Ground. Their new stadium has a seated capacity of 60,000, significantly more than the 35,000 capacity of the Boleyn Ground at Upton Park. The team finished 7th in the 2015/16 Premier League table, qualifying for the UEFA Europa League’s third qualifying round, only to be eliminated by Romanian club Astra Giurgiu in the subsequent Play-off Round.
The football kits of West Ham United are designed by Umbro and sponsored by Betway. The home shirt has a traditional claret base colour with sky blue sleeves and body side details. The club crest has been redesigned. The club’s away shirt features a white base colour. The sleeve edges are a mixture of claret and sky blue, while the collar is claret and white, with sky blue details on the shoulders.
The third kit of West Ham United commemorates the first kit worn by the club back in 1895-96 as Thames Ironworks with its navy blue base colour.
